Service Termination

There is no fee to terminate service.

To terminate service, please contact the Customer Service Division via email (Email the Department), in person  or on the phone at 623-933-1228.  This request must be made by the account holder, or an authorized representative, and the following information will be required:

  • Property address
  • Forwarding address
  • Phone number
  • Requested termination date
Please give us at least one business days' notice (Monday -  Thursday, excluding holidays) to close your account.

Until a request for termination is received by our office, utility services will remain active and service charges will continue to accrue on the account.

We will be unable to backdate termination of service for any customer.

Any deposit amount held on the account will credit towards the final-billed charges.  If a balance is remaining due, it will be listed on the customer's final bill.  If a credit is owed to the customer, please allow 4-6 weeks following the requested termination date for a check to be issued.
