Service Interruptions Resume September 2021
Due to the pandemic, the City of El Mirage suspended utility service interruptions and late fees assessed to delinquent accounts in March 2020. If your utility account is delinquent, please be advised that service interruptions (disconnects) will resume in September 2021 for all delinquent accounts.
Please contact the Customer Service Office at 623-933-1228 with any questions regarding your account. If necessary, payment arrangements can be made to assist in rebalancing your account to avoid service interruption.
The Customer Service Office is located at 14406 N Alto Street in El Mirage. The office is open Monday through Thursday from 7:00 am - 5:30 pm. Staff is also available by phone during business hours at 623-933-1228. The office can also be reached via email at email@example.com..
Apply for Utility Assistance
If you are experiencing financial hardship due to COVID-19, Maricopa County is distributing utility assistance to qualified applicants. Residents can complete a pre-screening through the Maricopa County online portal at: http://hsdclientportal.maricopa.gov/
Community Action Program (CAP)
Support may also be available through the El Mirage Community Action Program (CAP), which is a partnership between Maricopa County, El Mirage and Surprise that provides support services that foster self-sufficiency and stability during unexpected financial crises by providing limited temporary assistance with utility and eviction prevention for qualifying El Mirage and Surprise residents.
